CT External Slip Type Connectors allow the attachment of CT to the BHA with a threaded connection. The External Slip Type Connector utilizes a set of “wicker” type slips that grip the tubing in a wedging action. Thus, an increase in tension increases the grip. The inclusion of the slip bowl assists in the make-up by preventing rotation of the slips.
